Yubione Pedals: Revolutionizing Amazon Workflows

A client, now a partner, approached us with an idea: create a pedal for Amazon workers and launch it on Kickstarter. He had worked at Amazon himself and constantly faced the issue of accidentally pressing his YubiKey. We decided to build upon the design of a guitar pedal, revamping the internals (engineering) and creating a series of unique designs.
Project Story
We spent a long time searching for a factory in China that could manufacture a prototype correctly. We finally found one, but they made it wrong! We had to re-solder components and provide clear video tutorials. After several iterations, we finally got it right.
Production
What’s Next?
We’ve been diligently ordering these pedals to ensure high-quality printing, correct internal components, and the right price. And we’re simultaneously launching the Kickstarter campaign. We’re doing everything transparently – real reviews, tests, and more. (We’ll include the Kickstarter link later.)
Design
We decided to create several super-distinct design variations to appeal to different audiences. We initially planned to make 2-3, but our designer was unstoppable! We somehow managed to narrow it down to five options. But the engineer didn’t like orange, and it was difficult to make it work in vector format. Okay, four it is!
We kept the basic form, which has already been tested by the audience and is inexpensive to produce
