Project Story
Sometimes the client only has an idea and a general vision of the product. The goal is to create the product, secure investments for it, or sell it as a fully-fledged project.
In this case, the client had an idea and a patented operating principle that they wanted to integrate into the project. The aim of the project was to create a product, overcome all technical contradictions, test the operating principle, and develop an investment-attractive industrial design.
Challenges
We explored different designs and analyzed the situation. One of the challenges was the client's requirement to use a stirrup (bail) mechanism. Additionally, given the high water pressure, the construction had to be extremely reliable, resulting in a fairly heavy structure. We aimed to create a universal design that would fit most faucets.
The Result
The client was able to achieve their goals of selling the project on their terms with the provided documentation, design, and prototypes. We stayed focused on these objectives, creating not only a 3D-printed prototype but also an intermediate metal prototype and a final polished metal version. Everything was tested and worked as specified, and we are pleased that the client's goals were met.
The goal of the project was to secure investments for large-scale development. The client has achieved this goal! The project is now in further development, but as we’ve learned, the client is actively using the prototype for personal purposes as well, which is especially pleasing to us!
